Obvious?
So I was at work today, and it was a lovely morning. It was a really lovely morning, you see. As soon as I got to the office, Kak Zah and Pn Jess were having coffee on the lounge. We chatted and complimented on Pn Jess' beautiful punjabi suit and had a nice chat with both of them.
Then I had my tea and then Enaliza went up to my place and we were catching up with the latest development on our project because she was away for 3 days.
Then Elaine came to say hi.
Then later Roger and Pn Jess came to my place and we were talking about udang galah.
Then Mr Richard was dancing because he is happy about his retirement and of course I had to say something about it to him, Enaliza, Syal and Roger whom were there too.
Then I got back to work - I wanted to edit some videos to be used during training. I wanted to put the headphone on to listen to the video. So then when I picked the headphone up, a bunch of wires just dropped on my table. I was like what the heck, then I saw it, it was not a bunch of wires, it was a snake. I thought that someone was pulling a prank on me and that it was a plastic snake.
But when it raised its head and started moving, that was it. A SNAKE!!
I jumped off from my seat, screamed my head off, and everyone was looking at me and I lost for words. Then it came. "Snake! There's a snake on my table!"
And every one dashed off from their desks. (then: panic, now: lol). Someone jumped on her chair. All the Ketua Jabatan went out of their rooms to see what the commotion was all about.
Then Enaliza and Dr Shukry bravely went to see where the snake was. It was on my monitor now. Then it slowly made its way to the 'in' tray. Dr Shukry said that it was very kawaii, so I said if it's so kawaii, then he should pick it up and remove it from my place.
It was about 1.5 - 2 feet long, brown colour with slender body. He has a long face and a strong body to climb vertically without any support.
Then Kak Zah called our technician, Hanif, to come down and remove the snake. Hanif came down with Subki, Fadil and a man I didn't know. With wooden poles like tamil heroes in a gang fight. When they were removing the snake, they said that the snake tried to attack them so the man I didn't know killed it. Poor that snake.
But they said we shouldn't kill a snake because snakes are vindictive creatures. If you kill a snake, the family will come and hunt you. Oh no.
